All courses are either instructor led or designed for individual interaction through computer based training sessions. Pre-registration is required to attend any training.

Course Description:

Computer based self-study (CBT). The Valero Benicia Refinery is committed to keeping its employees and contractors safe while on site. This course has been designed to include a basic overview of the tools and knowledge needed to work safely at the Valero Benicia Refinery. The interactive program focuses on safety, health and environmental compliance, as well as process safety management mandated information. In addition, the e-learning module provides an introduction to General Facility Rules; Personal Protective Equipment; Safe Work Practices; Permits; Hazard Communication; Fall Protection; Confined Space; and Emergency Response and Accident Procedures.

Course Schedule:

Computer based courses are self-paced and trainees may start any time between 6:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
