Course Overview:

All courses are either instructor led or designed for individual interaction through computer based training sessions. Pre-registration is required to attend any training.

Course Description:

Computer based self-study (CBT). Valid State or Government issued ID required at registration. SAF Confined Space is gives trainees a basic understanding of confined space hazards and the general requirements of the OSHA Confined Space Standard. Trainees will learn the difference between a confined space and a “permit-required” confined space. They will also gain a general understanding of the hazards associated with working in confined spaces; how to protect themselves from these hazards; entry procedures; reclassification procedures; contractor requirements with regard to confined spaces; the confined space entry permit; training and duties of the entrant, attendant, and entry supervisor; and rescue and emergency services.

Course Schedule:

Multimedia courses are self-paced and trainees may start any time between 6:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
