This course includes the following topics: Purpose and Introduction; Working Onsite; PSM Regulation; Work Permits; Reporting Incidents/Safety Hazards; Emergency Evacuation and Muster Points; Protecting Yourself and Others: The Most Dangerous Job; Hazard Control Methods; Basic Personal Protective Equipment (PPE); Employer-Provided Training; Body Protection (Fire-Resistant Clothing or FRC); Process Areas, Signage, and Prevention; Radiation Safety; Common Chemical and Environmental Hazards; Hazard Communication (HAZCOM) Overview; Health Hazards, Toxicity, and Exposure; Physical Hazards of Flammables and Oxidizers; Chemical Clothing and Respiratory Protection; Environmental Hazards; Life Critical Work Activities; Confined Space Entry; Hot Work; Working from Heights; Excavation and Trenching; Electrical Hazards; Operating Motorized Equipment; Power Tools; and Safety – Whose Responsibility? Meets OSHA 1910.119 requirements.
Multimedia course are self-paced and trainees may start anytime between 6:30 am and 12:30 pm Monday through Thursday.
