The Three Rivers Educational Partnership is dedicated to enhancing teaching and learning by making educational experiences relevant to students and their futures. The Partnership serves as a bridge between the classroom and the world outside the classroom. By linking community schools with local employers, the Partnership promotes community success by preparing today’s students for tomorrow’s local business needs and development.
TREP’s primary role is to leverage member resources and coordinate and facilitate activities between local employers and local schools. Creating awareness about career opportunities in manufacturing, science, technology, engineering and applied science occupations is TREP’s priority.
TREP, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, is governed by a board of directors comprised equally of education and business professionals. Started in 1993, TREP has enriched the lives of students and supported educators for nearly four decades.
TREP is first and foremost an education-business partnership. All of our initiatives and projects depend on our membership’s engagement with one another.
There is an interrelationship between good schools, good businesses and good communities. A quality education system attracts businesses to join its locality, which strengthens the educational opportunities. Together they form a community.
